''03 V6 Tranny problems - 8/10/2008 3:06:10 PM    Dr.Evil   Posts: 42 Joined: 1/31/2006 Status: offline Anyone know of any issues with the 03 auto tranny? I was driving along the other day when she started downshifting, upshifting and eventually just cut out above 40 mph.I checked the OBD and got a "torque converter stuck" message. She''s at the dealer now but the car only has 35k on it and I''ve never abused it.( Now I see why I was warned agaisnt putting a turbo on it). _____________________________ Dr.Evil Post #: 1

The dealer called me today and told me that Honda will foot 90% of the repair bill.( total cost 3000.00+/-) obviously a serious problem exists! I guess instead of a full blown recall, they''ll fix ''em as they come in.
