RE: 12v power outlet - 10/1/2008 8:32:33 AM    falkore24 Posts: 5663 Score: 0 Joined: 8/16/2007 From: Wayne, NJ Status: offline What do you need powered when the car is off???  This was done on most cars to reduce unintended power drains.  If this bothers you enough, you can remove the stock power lead and run a new mainline from the battery.  I suggest using an inline fuse if you do this, also 14ga. wire and a 25A max fuse size.  If you want 30A, use 12ga. wire, but IDK what the lighter socket itself can take. _____________________________ 2006 Scion TC (ZPI-18G pending) 2000 V6-AT (RIP 3G) Temp Search thanks to Finch13 (in reply to kgsydow) Post #: 2
