i have a 1998 50th Annaversary Accord Auto its starting to play up a little like slipping between 2 to 3 shifts i give it a fair bit of a hard time drops a nice burnout thou ! But i was wanting to know is a 5spd Conversion pretty hard wiring an setting up the pedals ive already got a custom ram air intake with a nice 2 1/4 exhaust with S/S Extractors sounds a treat ive been researching abit bout a 5spd conversion an found a few documents, but still deciding bout going threw with it anyone had any exprience doing one, thanks Zambo ----------------------------------- Nothing Better Than a FWD Honda Accord Winning A Drag

if you treat that manual like you did the auto trans, then I feel sorry for your car.....just get all of the parts from a 1998 manual car including ecu and swap away cost you a fair penny

It is a good size job and expect issues to arise during the install and if you are not mechanically inclined I would steer clear. But if you are then I would say go for it, especially if you can have the car out of commision for a few days. Like Yeu said just take everything that has to deal with the manual tranny car and know that you're going to have to put it in yours.

I think it would be better in the long run ive havent purchesed anything yet but im waiting mainly for the auto to crap itself then go from their, ive heard they are a very weak auto and they tend to break down under normal conditions, would i have to change my instrument cluster to a manual one, If anyone has any advice about parts i would be very happy to listen thanks Zambo
