Well I don't have an image but I can tell you that if you are facing that side of the motor the bottom most right pulley (and the largest) is your camshaft pulley, top left should be either the alternator or the A/C (A/C has some metal lines running to it, alternator just has wires) and those are the three main ones.  How'd the pulley break anyway? Can you post a picture?

How's this?  The one that's shown separate from the engine (#2) is for cars without air conditioning.

The top pulley with it's own belt is power steering.  The other belt drives the alternator & below it, the air condition compressor.

That's the crankshaft pulley.  The camshaft is way up top under the cover that says VTEC.  It's pulley is under the black plastic cover.

But your crankshaft pulley fell off...  !!  Wow.  Don't run the engine without it.

Jim,
okay, crankshaft pulley it is. is it a D-I-Y type job or just let the professional handle it? if it is a D-I-Y, any suggestions?

well, it's probably has nothing to do with my wife's driving (although this is her third car that she broke)...hehehe.

Well, usually it takes a tremendous amount of work (and some not-very-nice words) to get it OFF.

If you're sure the toothed timing belt (inside the plastic covers) didn't skip any teeth, you can probably put the pulley back together.  But it's tightening torque is pretty high.

Putting the external drive belts back on is pretty easy.

Haha.  If you want many examples, go do a search and type in "crankshaft pulley bolt" into the search engine.  Some threads may even have some pics

I agree getting the thing off is the hard part.... the fact that it came off is REALLY strange... recent timing belt change?  Or did the pulley itself break?

Either way it's just a matter of lining up the "key" and the pulley the putting the bolt back on and getting it to torque to 180 ft/lbs then put the belts back on.  With the proper tools it's a 30 minute job.  Without them who knows how long it will take, Honestly a repair shop shouldn't charge you more than 1 hour labor about about $60-$80 for the pulley.

This is kind of odd this just happened to me also, I got my pulley back on with new belts and the crank pulley is making a bad clicking noise.  I was going to pull the pulley back off and see if there was any damage; should have done that in the first place.  But putting it on is simple, getting the tension on the power steering belt is easier with two people though.  One to hold it in place and the other to tighten it down.  Not to steal your thread but if anyone has an idea about the clicking I would appreciate it you can send me a pm or something.  Once I get the pulley off and put back on I will make a little DIY to post up.
