Hey everyone, I'm new here and I'm looking for a little help.

My car:
2002 accord se coupe
5 speed, 4 cyl

My problem:
I was just tinkering around with the passenger side door, lubing everything up etc because I had an odd squeak when opening and closing the door, and I stupidly touched the door latch mechanism on the side of the door panel which moved it, I think, into the locked position. Now I can't close my passenger side door!!! The door won't engage, and I've tried everything in my power to fix it. I even tried taking the door panel off, but one stubborn screw wouldn't come off and I ended up almost completely stripping it!

Any help would be great, I'd like to DIY this job, hopefully before work tomorrow, but please keep in mind I'm not as amazing as all of you, and I might need a little more instruction than most people.

thanks,

Jason
