Hi guys, I have a 2004 Accord Ex V6 dual climate control and I am not getting any heat. The temperture gauge is showing normal. The blower motor is working. The upper & lower rad hoses are hot to thouch and the lower heater core intake hose is hot, the heater valve is working ok...but the top return heater hose is cold to thouch . So the hot cooling is not circulating through the heater core. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

There should be a flow valve just before the heater core that opens/closes to allow the exchange, this may be hanging up, trace your lines into the heater core and look for it, make sure it's still connected etc.  Is the car still under warranty by chance?

On accords, the 2-door and 4-door models are basically different cars.  I couldn't tell you how much time I've spent looking to help people and had it turn out to be the wrong model.

How do you know that the valve is working properly?  If it is, it sounds like there's something in your heater core .... bad news.  Have you ever used radiator sealer?  That stuff can gel and cake onto the tubes and cause restrictions.  Since you have a total blockage, I'd suspect the valve.

PS - Thanks for the signature.

you will get more replies if you start your own thread, that way people will see it. Also, post it in the General Tech Help section, the DIY request section is not really for asking for help, although its not really strictly enforced.
