I just saw for the first time the 2-minute Honda video commercial made in April 2003 popularly called COG. At the end of the video what looks like an Accord wagon rolls down a ramp. I can find no information that says that Honda made a wagon in 2004 (or for some years before and up to the present). Was/is there a 2004 or later Honda wagon (not an SUV or mini-van)?

I looked some more and found that the video was for Honda Europe. They sell the wagon in Europe, not the U.S. Too bad they don't bring it over here. They've left Volvo with most of that wagon market, I think. (I have a Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon :-)

Honda made wagons in the US till 97. But, personally, the best looking wagons were the 93s; more steeze, less minivan look. I would love to see Honda import the Euro Wagons to the states. Wagons are the sensible man's pickup

Hmmmm that's strange, 'cause I don't think he does.  Must be some funny pixelation when I reduced the size/resolution of the picture.

I'll have to start paying attention to the neighborhood gossip...

Back on topic.  That Honda COG commercial is one of my all-time favorites.  I was even more impressed when I heard there wasn't any funny photo-studio computer enhancements.  I wonder if it's true (like I heard) that the guys shooting the spot had dismantled one of the very few prototype Accords that existed in the world at the time.

Is that your subaru?  Oops I mean rebadged saab.  Those are neat cars.

My first car was an 88 740 gle volvo.  Had it for a few months and then my dad took it back.  He sure loved that car and had a hard time selling it in 2001.  My uncle bought it from my dad and the car is still trucking.

I've always had a special place in my heart for wagons.

what the difference, besides the ride height/suspension, between a wagon and an SUV?

Yup that's my Saabaru.  The '98 Accord behind it has been sold & replaced with an '07 Civic coupe.

Looks, I guess; but even that's getting blurry.  Most of the time an SUV would still be tall even if you lowered the suspension.  Usually the designer chooses suspension & driveline stuff that isn't so sporty.  Many SUV's are based on pickup trucks, but there's more & more now that are based on cars.

Darn-tootin'!
I kinda miss my wagon... 'cept for the awful sound system, the rough-shifting auto transmission and the ultra old, ultra stiff shocks/struts
