I am in the process of buying a 2008 EX-L 4cyl Manual...stock sway bars are 26.5 front and 13 rear.  I am not a performance nut...obviously with the 4cyl...but I like nice firm suspension...and little sway on clover leafs, etc.

I plan on changing the rear sway bar...other posts talk about Accura rear bars as bolting right up...is the 2008 different than the 2007 or do they have they same measurements?

What is the easiest and best choice for an upgrade to the rear bar?

Should the front be changed out also?

What about tires?...are the stock tires OK?...I did read a gripe about them a "slushy" in one of the magazine write-ups?  My plan would be to go with stock until they wear out.  BTW...I am in snow country and will use year round.

Thanks for any input...Tom R in Minnesota

regarding the sway bar, i doubt the 7th gen would fit.  the car is like 3" wider...moved from mid-size to full size.

Are you sure its 13mm?  I believe the 6th gens on the ex came with 17mm and the lx got 14mm.  That seems really thin for such a large car.

Yes, looking at the 2008 sales brochure now...EX-L 4cyl = 26.5/13.0...EX-L 6cyl = 26.5/14...EX-L Couple 4cyl = 26.5/15.0...EX-L Coupe 6cyl = 27.2/15.0

Any other info on what upgrades may fit...or are available aftermarket?

Thanks...Tom R

Likely none at this point. It's just too new for any manufacturer to have studied and improved upon. It took a while for the 7th generation and new items are still coming down the pike. It will likely happen eventually.
