Just reached 50k on the 04 Accord....

was looking to do a tune up myself rather than pay the dealership 300-400 to do 90% of the things i can do in my garage

as of right now i am planning on doing the following.

-  Air filter is K&N (so im just gonna clean it)
-  cabin air filter replace
-  replace all sparkplugs (any suggestions to performance plugs???)
-  replace fuel filter (any suggestions to specific fuel filters? or are they all similiar)
-  obviously top off everything that needs topping off.... check all loose wires, pipes, tubes
-  air pressure in tires

anything else i should think about doing?

i was debating getting spark plug wires.... i''ve seen these range from $30-$250
is it necessary? will i notice anything by replacing them?

should i flush my system?

anything im missing?

thanks...

Don''''t bother replacing the sparkplugs till 105K.  You are wasting your money if you do.  The stock NGK plugs perform the best.  I wouldn''''t replace the wires unless they are damaged (highly unlikely).
I don''''t know if you even have a fuel filter (my 6th gen doesn''''t), but I don''''t have a 7th gen so I''''m not 100% sure.
See what your user manual says for service as well.

Good luck finding any spark plug wires.  Theres an individual coil on top of each plug.

No fuel filter, so thats the same as Jons 2000 Accord.
