Car got spray painted... - 10/4/2006 5:42:59 PM    19Accord97   Posts: 3171 Joined: 3/5/2006 Status: offline Well a kid 3 houses down from me got his truck spray painted by someone. I dont hang out with his people so i'm hoping it wont happen to me (I park outside too) but since it is so close to me I was just wondering what to do if my car were to get spray painted. How long would I have to get it off? If it happened at night would it not stick as well, therefore giving me more time to get it off? I figure if it can fight off the sun it should help in fighting off spray paint. As far as getting it off, rubbing compound might help and then there are the tar and bug removers for a little more aggressive touch. If the spray paint really adheres to your car's finish you might end up having a serious buff job preformed.
