Car won''t start - 9/8/2008 12:57:45 PM    charles1313   Posts: 1 Joined: 9/8/2008 Status: offline I have a 97 Accord. It starts and runs perfect when I first start it up. If I drive it for a half hour or 45 minutes and then turn it off it won''t start. It does not make a sound when I try to start it, all power still works fine. If I let the car sit and cool down for about 45 minutes it starts right up as nothing was wrong.....Any suggestions? Post #: 1

Drove for like 10 min then wont start again... well what i did was get a simple electrical wire,gauge doenst matter, and connect it to the starter and then connect the other end to the positve post, should start, if not then battery,and or starter is shot. My car woulnt even start for a while, then my friend took a look atit and it turned out there was oil inside the distributor cap. a no cost fix. check through eveything yourself and have a car friend look at it. it will save you lots of money. i saved 100 dollars. _____________________________ -it is what makes us different, that brings us together- 1996 accord 25th anniversary no vtec (in reply to cjdm98) Post #: 3
