hey guys know any ways like chemicals that can protect chrome rims over the winter months from salt and such. my friend has a nice set and doesnt want to ruin em cause its his only car. thanks

i suggest just putting the stock ones back on in the winter.  yeah your car will look cool as its driving throught the snow, but it ruins the rims.  That and usually rims like these usually have performance tires that are worthless in the snow.

yeah but thats all he has is the chrome rims. as for the tires im not sure i think theyre decent probly better than mine in the weather lol. ill have him try wheel shield

Yuck. Honestly, tell him to go to the yard and drop $200 on steelies and get some decent tires, anyone who drives around in the winter with rims on is a fool, myself included. You''ll find yourself in a ditch, or worse yet, a tree. :D
