So last Friday, I parked the car after driving home from work and didn't drive it pretty much all weekend until Monday I think.  I start up the car to move it and my clutch feels totally different.  I feel no pressure at all pushing down on it, until about half way close to the ground.  I can literally just push it down without any pressure at all and it'll come right back up like a bouncy ball.

Now the clutch literally engages like about two centimeters off the ground.  It definitely wasn't like this before and it's getting me worried because I don't want to end up on the side of the road because my clutch dies out or something.  The  clutch isn't slipping at all so I don't know could be the problem.  Let me know what you guys think, thanks!

EDIT -

So I finally got the new master clutch cylinder in and now I have no pressure on the clutch at all. I tried bleeding the clutch but it doesn't seem to be working. I had my brother push on the clutch five times then hold it in then I would loosen the bleed bolt and I would only see the fluid coming out. Is the car suppose to be on when you're doing this? Am I doing something wrong to not get any pressure on my clutch?

You need to check the clutch master and slave cylinders. A leaking seal can cause the pedal to go "to the floor." You can see the slave cylinder, it's right below the starter. It looks like a cast iron twinkie with a rubber bellows on the end. It's easy to see when it leaks - pull back the boot and look for the creamy filling, er leaking hydraulic fluid. The master cylinder is better protected, but if it leaks it might dribble into the driver's side toeboard. You can replace each cylinder separately, or get a reseal kit for them. I had very good luck resealing my slave cylinder, but YMMV. The seal kit was cheap - $14.00. The cylinders are more like 60-75 each.

That it failed so suddenly makes me think it has to be a seal that finally gave up. I'd look closely at the slave cylinder, because it's "out there in the elements."

This morning when I started up the car, I can't shift into gear!  It seems that when the car is off, I can shift into gear but when I turn on the car, I can't shift into gear.  Do you think changing the slave or master cylinder will fix the problem?

I bought a new master clutch cylinder, now I'm having a hard time unscrewing the clutch pipe.  I put some WD-4 on it and I'm still having a hard time unscrewing it.  What did you guys use to loosen it up?  Its pissing me off I can't get it loosen.

Quick question, the master cylinder on the car is totally different then the one that was purchased.  The one I bought look like this http://www.carpartswholesale.com/wholesale/clutch/honda-accord-9472315.html  but the one on the car has a spot for the reservoir.  Is this going to be a problem?

Doesn't your old reservoir attach to the top of the new one?

Well, I finally got everything off.  According to the manual, when I pull out the master clutch cylinder, the whole piece is suppose to come out.  But the problem I'm having now is, there's this pole sticking out that won't come out and I'm wondering how the other end of it is suppose to come out since the whole in the middle is small.  Here's a picture, let me know what I'm suppose to do cause I'm pretty stumped.

See those three rods sticking out?  How am I suppose to get that out?  The two threaded rods on each side, I need to get those out so I can put in the new master clutch cylinder because there are two threaded rods already on the clutch cylinder.

my friend...you pulled off the brake master cylinder. this is the part you want to pull off your car:

see this pic?

the arrow points to the clutch master cylinder reservoir, which is connected to the clutch master cylinder. you didn't need to remove the brake master cylinder to remove it.
did you read the pdf files i posted?

Well, good news is it looks like the brake master cylinder may have been leaking a bit also.

The dribble line from the clutch MC looks just like the one I had on my daughter's 97 Acura 2.2CL (essentially an Accord). It made a world of difference in clutch performance, which had gradually deteriorated until the clutch pedal fell to the floor.

Removing the hard line to the MC is a challenge due to space limitations. I found I could not use a 12mm flare tubing wrench which is correct tool for the tubing nut due to space. However, the nut was loose enough to allow removal w/ a 12mm open-end. Hopefully your's will be also. I found that removing the brake booster vacuum line provided some additional room to work on the clutch MC.

good luck

It seems now I have a another major problem.  I removed the two nuts from the clutch master cylinder before removing the clutch pipe and the reservoir hose.  I was able to get the reservoir hose loose and off but there's no way I was able to get the clutch pipe loosen so I tried pulling out the clutch master cylinder hoping I was able to get it out enough so I can loosen the clutch pipe.  Now the problem is no matter what I do, I can't get the freaking thing out at all!  No matter what angle I do, it hits something and blocks the cylinder from coming out.

I'm out of ideas on what to do because I was trying to put it back in but I can't even do that because it won't turn at all to let me put the left screw in first.  It won't turn at all!  I'm thinking it's because of the clutch pipe which is killing me!  Here's a pic.

You guys having any idea on what I can do?  I'm practically just stripping the clutch pipe trying to loosen it with a wrench.
