I'm looking to get 19's on my 2000 coupe but I dont know if i should lower it with springs or coilovers?

I'd say coilovers so you can make sure that the wheels fit under there right.  19's are pretty large.

Yeh your cars gonna look like a 4x4 truck unless you lower it

18's are about the largest I'd put on the car ..... some people like Big Foot though ..... and if you plan to keep the speedo working right, the 19's will give a pretty rough ride.  Also, if they're heavy as hell, they will hurt your acceleration and braking.
