Dash screen backlight question - 6/26/2008 10:47:04 AM    Esmith   Posts: 3 Joined: 6/26/2008 Status: offline When I bought my 04 accord, the backlight on my dash screen(the display for the cd player/ac unit etc..) wasnt working, which cut a lot off the price... The dealer gave me a number for an oem place where I could purchase a new unit for about 450 bucks... I was just wondering maybe if there was a way I could fix it or replace something.  Maybe save myself some cash. Not sure if its possible, but just thought I''d ask and hope someone has had the same problem and avoided having to replace the whole thing. Sounds like it''s in stealth mode. Many dealers don''t know this. But if you press and hold the changer button for 5 seconds, the radio will beep and the display goes blank. As far as I know, this in only for the 7th gen accord. Also, if you hold down the unlock button on your key that will roll all the windows down _____________________________ What''''s that red button on your steering wheel...OOOH MY GOD!!!!!!!
