Okay, so I was unfortunately the victim of a bad ebay seller and was sold tein knockoffs. They settled so far in the front that my tires are tucked into my wheel wells. This normally wouldn''t be a bad thing if that''s what I wanted; however, that''s NOT what I wanted. I had crappy coilovers on there before and wanted my camber to not be so messed up and I wanted a better ride. Now my car scrapes on EVERYTHING! Not just in the middle when i''m going over a speed bump or something, but the front skid plate. I can''t drive over a soda can laying down on its side. I''ll hit it.
So, now I''m at the point where I''m going to order my new springs. I''m deciding on either Eibach sportlines, or H & R sport springs. My question is, anybody have any comments or recomendations between these two springs. A buddy of mine had eibachs on his mustang gt and another friend had h & r''s on his 99 cougar, both of them liked them, said the ride wasn''t compromised, tightened it up quite a bit but not so much that it was bouncy.

Sorry you got caught up in that. Tein even has a page on their site showing how to tell which ones are knock offs and which are legit, it''s that bad.
That''s a tough choice between H&R and Eibach. Have you considered the H&R Race springs over the Sports?
Neither of them are going to be bouncy, that depends on what damper you get and it''s adjustability. I can''t really make a recommendation, but I drove on Eibachs in my 95 and I have a set of H&R Race waiting to go on my 99.

AFAIK, the H&R''s are harder ..... both are good choices though ... I think if you plan to keep stock shocks, that the Eibach Pro-kit is the best choice. Seeing as how you had originally intended S.Tech, I''d expect a full coilover to be the best system for going low. All depends on what you want.
& yeah, a sagging S.tech would be like dragging on te ground!

Yeah, it''s bad! I plan on going with some koni''s in the future, not too far future even. The only difference price wise is like 20 bucks so I''m not too worried about the price differences between the two companies. I''m not wanting to go super low. I think the H & R''s might be what i''m looking towards then. I like a little bit stiffer than the stock spring feel, even on my cruddy ones, I have a ton less body roll than I did on my crappy coil-overs. I''d like to keep that pretty much the same and if the h & r''s will do that I''ll go that way. I''m also planning on adding meatier sway bars too.

The sways are what take care of the roll .... eibach is stiffer than OEM, but H&R are even stiffer. Do you have camber correction??

I''m ordering that with my springs. Currently I don''t, (going through front tires in about 10 months, which is only like 7000 miles!) They are the adjustable ball joint style like the good ingalls ones, in fact, I think they ARE ingalls that i''m ordering. I was informed to use those ones as opposed to the ones that move the upper control arm out. (something about having to do with tire and fender clearance). Anyways, yeah, i''m ordering them and installing them and having Les Schwab (the tire conglomerate out here on the west coast) do an alignment. My rears are within standards (barely) but I haven''t had to change those tires in like two years, still TONS of wear on them.

I thought the adjustable ball joints one are the ones that stick out further and knock on the fender... I''m getting the Ingalls Rear Adjust. Control Arms and skipping front end. If your rear tires are within spec, even barely, they still wouldn''t wear out that fast. I personally take my car to a mom and pop shop for an alignment because they don''t try and service as many cars as possible each day and take their time doing it.

Hmmm, i''ve seen drawings (cad drawings) of both of them. The adjustable ball joint is barely thicker than the stock one but it offers a lot more range degree wise. The other style actually pushes the whole control arm out which then makes the ball joint (possibly) hit the inside of the fender when compressing the spring. I''ll definitely look into it before I put the order through but from what i''ve read so far I was pretty sure that''s the style I am looking for.
As far as Les Schwab doing the work, I love the shop, and the guys that work there really know what they''re doing. Otherwise I would go elsewhere, like big O tires or discount tire company. With Les Schwab you really pay for their products and such, but their service is amazing. You''re not allowed to leave without a written warranty! And I like the way the company treats their employees. My brother in law works for them at a different shop and loves working for them.
So, not to jack my own thread, what brand sway bar is worth the money? I''ve seen that Intrax makes one and I think Eibach makes one too. Who else?

On my accord, I had to grind the adjustable ball joints to hit LESS. After a year, they were dead and got replaced withy the control arm type and were fine afterward.
