Ground-Wire Kits - 2/20/2006 10:02:32 PM    F23AccordLX Posts: 79 Joined: 9/27/2005 Status: offline Hey people, I have a 99' Accord LX 5-spd w/ the VTEC 4cyl. I was wondering if i would see an improvment in HP and TQ and everything else that is said to happen with these kits. Thanks Post #: 1

Even on a high performance engine, I don't know if it would help that much. If your looking for some starting mods, i/h/e is usually the common path. (in reply to F23AccordLX) Post #: 2

RE: Ground-Wire Kits - 2/21/2006 12:29:44 AM    marbro Posts: 1478 Joined: 1/16/2006 Status: offline If the ground wires you have are substandard(meaning wires aren’t functioning the way they should either burnt out or not making proper contact due to rust) you will notice a difference if everything grounded properly, if you really feel there’s an issue there, replace everything with 4 gauge speaker wire, did I notice a difference? No, but I know everything’s grounded properly so I wont have any issues there. (in reply to F23AccordLX) Post #: 3

RE: Ground-Wire Kits - 2/22/2006 5:57:08 AM    lightshow Posts: 1775 Joined: 1/6/2006 Status: offline hey f23 i dont think they have ever tried a ground wire kit....for damn sure youll notice it. youll notice it like you would notice the difference if you put NGK iridium plugs in your car.. nothing thats going to sink your eyes into your socketsor anything but if you go from loafing to mashed you will absolutely notice increased throttle response (in reply to tom15425) Post #: 6
