I just joined. I live in West Texas. I just picked up a beater 1989 Accord 4 door from a buddy of mine who's a wholesaler. The car has "issues" which I want to take care of as cheaply as possible. It's seems to be a top line model (have not got it home yet) with power everything, sunroof and fabric interior. I drove it two miles and it drove out good with the exception of the check engine light on. The power windows don't work; the master switch at top is broken..........can this be bypassed? Also the turn signal stalk (left side of column) is missing. Is this a simple turn signal switch or does it incorporate headlighs or high beams, how expensive is a replacement assembly. So far looking around, all I've been able to find is a complete used column for $100...........is this a good price?
Enough questions for right now.
