A good washing should get rid of them.  But I have used Stoners Invisible Glass cleaner to get rid of some minor ones myself.

depends how long they've been in there.  much elbow grease always helps.

A 50/50 mixture of distilled water and white vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray on and let sit for about a minute. Then wipe off with some elbow grease and a nice micro fiber towel. Repeat if necessary.

A clay bar works quite nicely also.

I keep my car freshly waxed and cleaned.  We have very hard water in Vegas.  I have found that Meguirers Quick Wax will remove and shine up hw spots.

If you keep this stuff on your car, you shouldn't have water spot problems.

not really, that's what glass cleaner is for.    You get water marks on your glass?  Try a clean microfiber.
