I need help swapping F23A1 into 94 accord ex - 6/25/2008 7:52:46 PM    VTEC!MASTER   Posts: 9 Joined: 9/2/2007 From: PA Status: offline Hello all, I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX sedan with a F22B1 vtec 5-speed with 123k.  The current engine is burning alot of oil and has killed my gas mileage.  I have located a 2.3L F23A1 vtec from a 1998 Accord LX with 78k on it at a local junkyard for 300$.  I would like to do the swap but  am unsure about any  problems/complications.  Is this a bolt on swap?? or is there any modification needed??  I searched the forum but couldn''''t find any past talk of this particular application.  I really don''''t have any idea about the compatability of this swap, so any input/experienc/advice is greatly appreciated.    Thank You!! < Message edited by VTEC!MASTER -- 6/27/2008 5:17:08 AM > Post #: 1
