50 hp with 1000 dollars is not going to happen on an I4. with I/H/E youll see maybe around 20 or 25 at most i believe and thats probly what youll be able to get with 1000 to 1500. however that price may even be close. try my basic approach. start by buying an intake. either an AEM or buy the tube on ebay and get a good K&N filter. see what you think. if you want more power get a good exhaust catback 2 or 2.25 inch. headers give more power but only at higher RPM so theyre not always good for city driving. after exhaust you can always try them. if you want that 50 hp save up and either get an engine swap or turbo kit but that gets expensive. best of luck

what about this exhaust set?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Header-CAT-Cat-Back-Exhaust-Accord-98-99-00-01-02-4-cyl_W0QQitemZ320284842321QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320284842321&_trkparms=39%3A1|

It has everything, headers, resonator, cat-back

Oh what''''s a Bomz intake, why are they so cheap?

megan racing is good. i have megan headers as you can see in my signature on my car. they do their job. i dont run their exhaust but make sure you like the sound of it. check youtube for sound clips and such. thats not a bad price for all that. as for BOMZ intakes theyre just cheap kits that come with a pipe and a cheapy filter. theyre fine, just use the pipe and get a good filter such as K&N or AEM dryflow.

yeah, the prices isnt that bad considering the exhaust system is megan, dunno what the brands of the other stuffs tho..but megans are ok...theyr not that superior but they still do good products..

we just recommend bomz cuz its cheap and what you would just really use is the pipe and just buy a K&N filter or AEM or any top brand/great quality air filters..
