I have some problems sometimes with hitting "OK" to post a message and it doesnt work, so I have to copy, refresh, and paste. It doesnt do that with any other site, but I dont know what the deal is... Whatever the issue, it would be great if it could be fixed, I know it would be a shame if we lost RTexasF's knowledge base due to this...

ORIGINAL: RTexasF Thanks. I wouldn't leave but it's damn frustrating sometimes. First off ,, thanks for not leaving , ,your input here is very much appraciated,, I do sympathize with you , i got the same problem and it only seem to get worse and worse,, at times i have to resend a post 2-3 times, i have to lot out and log back in, take a long time to send a post ,, And you are correct it does not happen in other forums that i visit .. having said that ,i got no clue what the problem is or how to go about fixing it ,, but like you,i wish that if a software needs to be updated i sure hope that it gets done ASAP before we start losing members .. and yes it is very, very, very frustrating ..tonite for example i had to log in 3 times before it would let me in the forum,, and i had to try 4 times to edit this message .. and when i push the return to forum botton it kicks me out ,, and it does not matter which browser i use ( explorer, opera, mozilla ) and all are the updated latest versions ok something needs to be done

a few things that we are running into... some ISPs are beginning to decide what their users can and cannot view. i had several days where the good people at comcast decided that i could not view ANY of my sites. also, we are in the process of upgrading the servers to keep up with the growing activity of the site. i assure you that we are aware of the problems, and we are trying to fix them by upgrading/adding servers.

Thanks Patrick. I'm pleased to know that this is not falling on deaf ears. It's a good site with great folks but if it's a pain in the butt to use then membership will deteriorate.

Looks like this site is using PHPBB. Have all the current patches and updates been applied so that we on this site are running the most current verson of their software?? I do some web design work and at one time had a PHPBB bullentin board on one of my sites and had to constantly monitor updates and security patches from them to keep it up to date. Probably not the problem, but thought I'd throw it out there !!

I have noticed that it is improving, thank you. In all honesty there are still problems but it does seem to be somewhat better. It ain't there yet, but closer than it was.

The problems here are REALLY starting to tick me off!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try to post.....might work, might not. Go to previous page.......might work, might not. Leave the forum & come back in order to help someone's inquiry.... On and on and on. It was getting better but now seems to be back where it was before. When it is a total effort just to make a post it gets to the point where it's just not worth it anymore. Since others have stated the same problems before I must assume they are still experiencing the same problems that I am. This forum is short lived for me when there are so many available that don't have this crap to deal with. Is it money? I'll contribute but I need assurance that something will actually be done to correct the problem. ADMINS, TALK TO ME PLEASE. I'm no one special just a guy trying to contribute where I can. Really Frustrated and want to stay aboard but I'm on my last leg here. Others? Is it only me? Speak up, this really needs to be addressed. PS. If you experience no problems or slow downs with this site you cannot possibly understand what others are going through. It took me almost 10 minutes just to put this little edit in here because the site kept hanging up. If you think I'm just a grumpy old fart then fine but I've got a good reason!
