dont know where you saw that but if you think you can put a turbo anywhere else other then next to the engine exaust manifold and have it be effective.... more power too you

i checked the STS turbo website, apparently it is only being installed on american big block cars like corvette, mustangs, and firebirds, etc. I guess it would be a matter of time that it will come around to hondas. oh well. If you have time mabro, check it out and see how cool that setup is.

oh trust me, ive seen pictures 1100hp vette and they made it look like the whole system was suppose to be in the car. But in the end, turbowise, i wouldnt worry about name brand kits, it wont be cheap in the end and it wont really change how it should be installed or what needs to be installed ^_^

In theory, this wouldnt work because air is highly compressable. So, after 10 feet of piping your losing a lot of pressure. If you dont believe me, go blow thru a 2ft section of garden hose and feel the air coming through. then go blow through a 10ft section and i bet you wont feel much if not anything. Its strange that they are able to make this work. However, I bet its still very inefficient.

YOu can make it work but it's limited in it's potential. The only plus side to it is you eliminate the heat concerns of having the turbo in the engine bay. So you can go with little or no intercooling with it. The downside is like theBrewMeister said, you lose a lot of pressure, both in the compressed intake charge going back to the engine and exhaust pressure from the engine. So you could never run the system at really high boost levels.
