Keep the cat, for the minimal hp increase its not worth polluting the environment. Removing the cat is only good if you have a fully built race engine, and you dont.

Nice ride winndogg. But realistically speking, removing the cat and adding a "jdm" one will only give you a slight HP gain, IMO not worth it, save and get your self a complete system, you will be more satisfied with that dude. And as far as pepping up your car for cheap, you can go with a simple SRI from ebay, and NGK plugs IR,and wires.

Thanks, I already replaced the stock plugs with Bosch Platinum LR Fusion Iridium Plugs ($8/ piece) decent high performance plugs As for the air intake i only have the K&N high flow drop in... would i gain more out of a Short Ram Intake or the CAI ??? would this make more sense to have it in my wheel well or just sitting in my engine bay my car doesnt have spark plug wires... only the wires that go to the coils (can i replace these with performance wires?)
