I am interested in some of the newer style 5 spoke stock alloys for my new accord.... will the 16" bolt on?? are there any larger "Honda" wheels??

Any recommendations for cool, inexpensive (less expensive) wheels / tires.. I was hoping to locate so new take-offs someone wants to dump....

Thanks, Ben

My LX came with steel wheels and hub caps...

I would like to find some alloy wheels reasonable,,, I thought if someone had bought a new car and removed the wheels for 18" or so, maybe they would be interested in selling the stock alloys for a reasonable price....

Tha photo you posted is what I like.....

Got any?? are they cheap?

Thanks,
Ben

Okay, I don't know if anyone is still looking at this thread, but......

I just found an ad for '05 acura TL 17" factory Alloy wheels and michelin pilot 235/45/17 tires,, less than 2k mikes, for $600.00... Does anyone know how they will fit my '05 accord lx ...... will they be too wide??? they are obviously 30mm wider than stock, but I'm not sure the offset... if they would stick out I'll pass,,,,

opinions???
Wheelbroker.. your thoughts??

Thanks,
Ben

Hi sorry about the delay but I forgot about this thread...but here I am again..

The wheels from the 05" Acura TL and the 05 Accord are interchangeable , they are both the same bolt pattern and will fit both cars...
Here are two pictures of those wheels for you to check out...

Hope this is good for you....

WheelBrokerAng,

I am really concerned about the tires fitting under the wheel wells... 235/45/17's are pretty wide, and it almost looks like the front fenders on an Acura are flaired more then the accord...if so, that would cause them to stick out....?? have any experience with this size wheel / tire on an accord???

Thanks for all you input...

Ben

They will not fit your accord...the tires that is..the 235mm tires do fit the TL..
your 05' Accord takes a 215/50/17 tire which fits in there the correct way...

well accord to where i bought my wheels they fit the tl and accord...so then if that fits both then there is a possiblity that the 245 45 17 might fit if its a little wider

Better get out the baseball bat and prepar to roll the front and rear fenders out about 1" to keep from cutting the rubber off the tires..

If you can Find a real body shop who has the expertise and it's in your area, then they can do anything you want if you have the cash-ola..Kits no matter what still, need to have that good body shop to hang them on also..

235 50 17 should work just fine as the diameter is 26.25" vs 25.69" for 205 60 16 (2.21% increase). The only issue I see is front tire rubbing on full lock.
