Hey How's it goin Im new to the H.A.Forum,  I hope i learn alot from you accord fans out ther, Im Means nice to meet you all, I have a 02' Accord which belonged to my sister up until recently i bought it off of her and during the duration of her ownership my brother inlaw painted the drive way with the black paint(tar i think) so it happend to get on the car i took one of the drops off a couple days ago and it left a forrest green mark i think it stained the car surface i was wondering on how to get it off  without painting the car or even not make it visable any suggestions would be great thanks

Honestly... try bug and tar remover... you can find it anywhere. Pretty much every department store or auto store will have it. It's cheap, and it works. I had weird gunk on my car last summer that nothing even touched, until I tried bug and tar remover. It works miracles.

Thanks Guys ill go and check these productd soon as the weather gets a bit better you know Canada  lol to much of that white stuff up here once i try it ill let you know how it works thanks again.

Use cotton towels to remove the tar. The tar remover will take off every bit of wax so make sure that you seal or wax once the tar is gone.

Lmao her names actully Amy. But my Girl friend thought RondaTheHonda Sounded better kinda does lol. so wax after i remove the tar? what do you suggest is a good wax?

Pick one! You will recieve any many responses as there are waxes. Any tar remover will strip EVERYTHING off of the paint so it must be protected afterwards. Check this thread for a super easy to use product with showcar results. Our administrator does use it on his showcar as do many peeps here on their daily driver......including yours truly.

Used gasoline in a spray bottle to get some especially heavy tar off.  As mentioned above use wax afterwards.  Good Luck.
