Alright, so these guys are back again ruining the automotive world as we know it again. This time, they are going overseas and attacking the growing style of racing; drifting. I have to mention as well that the movie is starring Bow-Wow and some hick dude from the U.S. traveling to Japan to drift. I know that my car (240SX) will be worth thousands more than it should be after this movie hits theaters and the ricers catch on. Go to Yahoo! Movies to watch the preview and tell me what you think.

Wrong Lead character. He doesn't match playing that role neither does Bow-Wow. They should've had an asian-guy playing his role or someone from the previous FF's to make it more believable. And what is this putting hip-hop guys in street-racing movies? I just don't like the fact that they're mixing hip-hop w/ racing=2 different life-styles and tastes.

Ok, seriously, the whole fast and the furious line is over rated. A movie based on Initial D, thats something I would watch. Even though that anime has its unrealistic points. But a movie about drifting in Japan...... that doesnt have some crappy arse rapper kid clinging onto his failing carrier. That I most likely would watch.

Ok let me just tell everyone, bow wow might claim atlanta, but we don't claim him. That might have been random but I had to say it.

HAHAHAH!! Yes i agree with the total over kill with these movies. I wasn't too impressed with the first one, not to mention the over-rated second, and now a third. I seriously believe that this movie is targeting more of the younger kids i.e teenagers who dont know any better then to believe bow wow knows how to drift his freggin car.

I agree with you on this one. I've liked the series so far but this one looks really fake. Why are they just now making a movie on drifting...its been going on for a few years and they act like it was creeted yesterday! I know how it has many fake things, but what movie doesn't? I will still probably go see it, but my expectations won't be very high. I'm waiting for MI:III

Silent Hill is coming out as well. But going back to the FF, the first one was a stretch for realism, the second one just plain sucked , now this one is just going to be hell. Drifting is way too cool of a sport to be bashed by the FF people. And even if they made the movie, they should have Keiichi or Kunimitsu, who are the kings of drifting, in the movie. Who cares that they don't speak english, these movies are not about the dialog, they are about the racing.

Just saw it tonight...and I must admit. I thought its the best movie i've seen it a long time. Its the best of the 3 and the ending has a Biiiiiig surprise. Some of the scenes are fake and he gets lucky but I enjoyed the movie and thought some of the cars were def. nice. 'Specially the Mopars And a whole bunch of import guys crowded the parking lot at the movie theatre! heh The acting is pretty good and not overdone. There really wasn't to much use of "nawz" in this movie but you'll get a kick out of a motorcycle. I give it a

Glad to have written a helpful review! I hope you enjoy your movie and let us know as well what you thought!

Also forgot to mention there aren't to many slow parts and the race scenes are adrenaline pumping! It also makes Tokyo look like a place to visit! And just in case you didn't know, much of the shooting was done illegally b/c the gov't wouldn't let them officially record and scenes or close any roads. <-- Sneaky they are!

After watching the trailers I told myself I wouldn't go see it, but your review is changing my mind here. I may have to make a Saturday night out of it. There aren't too many good "car movies" out there unfortunately.

(as far as the first one, my intake has no welds that I'm aware of....)

I will buy the live action initial D movie before i go see the third fast and the furious, more realistic and it doesnt involve over glorified cars with body kits and stickers that advertize every single brand in existance
