RE: Throttle Body Spacer ? - 8/22/2008 8:16:36 PM    JimBlake   Posts: 3131 Joined: 5/31/2006 Status: offline Often the spacer is put there for heat insulation for the throttle body.  But thats kinda bogus because the air doesnt spend enough time IN the throttlebody to pick up hardly any heat to begin with. Ive never heard the fake turbo stuff.  Get a CAI, that makes some noise & its not totally useless.  If the TB spacer is whistling, that just means the airflow isnt smooth & clean. _____________________________ '03 Accord & '07 Civic '01 Saab 9³ & '05 9²x (in reply to WRX_ACCORD_136) Post #: 4
