Hi,

I have an Accord 1992, I bought it one month ago and it was hard shifting until I changed the trasns fluid three times, like trying to flush it, with the original Honda trans fluid. Honda told me that it might be contaminated with a regular trans fluid and it might be the hard shifting cause. Now it is shifting better but not totally smooth. what else could be the prob??? The lower shifting Solenoid?? the trans computer??? there is any way to diagnostic those elements... Really I don't want to guess and start changing parts and spending money like crazy. Some advice will be appreciated......

Hi Reddcode...
Here are a couple things...
Do you have anyfluid leakage?
Have a mechanic or yourself adjust the shift linkage that you have on your automatic transmission.

This is one of the only things that I can remember that you haven't already tryed yet...Good Luck...

It is past all that. The trans doesnt have all that. Its computer controlled. Only cable it has in this regard is the actual shift selector cable.
