Well, I'd say turbo for a few reasons: It's more efficient than the supercharger. I believe the roots style is 50%-ish whereas the turbo is in the mid 70s. This is important since the hotter the intake charge, the less dense it is=less power. Also, higher temperatures can bring about detonation. Secondly, the horsepower gain you get from a turbo will be safer than the equivalent nitrous shot. If you install and tune a turbo right you can still expect about 90% of the engine life. Lastly, I personally just like the design of a turbo and love that well known sound of the bov. So, if your motor is in good shape, I'd go turbo. If not, perhaps do a swap for a newer one (or an H22) or rebuild the internals?

I voted N/A because I think with some added bolt-on's my V6 should do just fine. If you didn't know, I had a 1990 Toyota Tercel before I got my car, so it is WAY faster, better handling and better looking than my Tercel-from-Hell. Besides, with rising gas prices, I want to keep the best MPG as possible. Now if money was no problem, and gas was cheap, I'd probably would go with a Comptech S/C. StevePhy
