Hello All!

I'm looking for a working clockspring or cable reel coming from a 1994 Accord EX / EX-R Automatic with cruise control. P/N: 77900-SM4-A01. Does anybody have one available? Please let me know here or email me. Thankyou!

What I'm looking for is the Cable Reel or Clockspring. If you remove the driver's side airbag, there is a black spiral device with numerous connectors coming off of it used to allow the low horn, cruise control and basic steering functions. I need that part. The Honda Part Number is: 77900-SM4-A01 for that year. If it's something else, please post it and I can find out if it supercedes to what I need.
The piece I need works on all 1992 - 1997 (U.S or CDN models) Accords with cruise control. If you remove the device from the steering column, please DO NOT rewind it or turn it around.

Please email me with a price. If you still don't know what I'm talking about, I'll try and walk you through it. Please note, the device I'm after is useless if the vehicle's airbags have been deployed.

Thanks!

Humm, Im not real sure how to go about getting that out without setting the airbag off.... never parted out a car before. But ummm, I can try to get it out, or you could have the whole steering wheel & take it out yourself. Idk what to tell you for a price... what is if worth to you? & Where are you located... I guess I would be shipping it to you.

I'll take the steering wheel too if you prefer. What you need to do is disconnect the ground cable and the positive (starter) cable from the battery. Touch the two cables together making sure neither cable touches the battery itself. This should discharge the airbags and reset the ECM and you can start tampering. As soon as the airbag is removed, you'll see what I'm after. You can send me a picture, or post the picture here on the forum.

Let me know how much you're looking for it. Correctly working clocksprings out here go for about $30 CDN. I'm in Toronto, ON, Canada.

Thanks!
