Swirls must be removed by machine polishing. The type of wax you use makes no difference other than many layers may help hide the marring that you are seeing. If machine polishing is out of the question your only choice is to use a product that fills and hides the marks/swirls. Here is a good one: http://www autogeek net/poorboys-black-hole-show-glaze html

This is just advice. But welcome to the black car club. Black paint is WELL known for swirl marks. Keeping your accord swirl mark free will be a bit of a challenge but it is not impossible, especially scince it is new. Invest in a polisher, (not one of those random ones) with adjustable speed (cost is about 50 to 70 bucks for a decent one, I have mine for about 3 years) then get a velcro back up pad, a waffle polish pad (the dark gray one) and 3Ms SWIRL MARK REMOVER .(THIS STUFF IS AMAZING) It is made for dark colored cars and the results are incredible. Waxing will just mask the swirls.......If you need more info I will be glad to add and of course,to purchase these things ebay it!!

I use #80 Meguires professional line, works great at removing swirl marks. I use it on my black truck all the time. Just drying your car with micro fiber towels will cause swirl marks.

My favorite wax is IBIZ. For all detailing inquiries, I defer to Rick!

My all time favorite wax and polish is wet glaze as you more than likely have seen in these forums 10000 times by now. WheeLBrokerAng
