I just got my rims and had not really thought about the well that is still hooked up for the outdoor water. I have wahed it twice in the well water and dryed it very well rims included. My question is , is it a huge problem to keep doing this ? Someone told me as long as you get it good and dry theres nothing to worry about. If anyone knows ne thing to help treat the rims or to just go to the car wash and not do it with well water... ???
Thanks

It ought to be alright.  Its not like the well water is full of acid or something, right?  When I was a kid I grew up using well water, and the only issue we had was water spots when we washed the parents cars, but drying it with a chamois took care of that.

I've been washing cars in well water for about 14 years now and the only problem I ever had was waterspots when it dries before I can dry it off with a towel...

And if it dries before you get to it and leaves water spots, get a damp cloth and wipe over the car and then dry it.

Well water is no different than any other mineral rich water. Nothing special required other than.....HURRY when you dry it off!
