some guy in my area has h&r springs and he's selling them for really cheap. i was wondering if you know anything about these?

do you know what model of H&R springs? Are they OE or Sport or??

ok then they should give you a bit of a drop (probably 1.5"-2" depending on the style) they ride fairly stiff but your handling goes through the roof.  If you've got stock shocks/struts you are going to want to start looking for a new set because lowering the car is going to put added stress on the stock ones and eventually blow them.  KYB shocks/struts are a forum favorite and fairly inexpensive.  How much is he asking for them?

Side note: I had the H&R cup kit on my 94 civic.  it's the H&R sport springs with Koni adjustable shocks (about $600.00)

i heard that H&R are stiffer than Eibachs.
