Window wont go up - 11/12/2007 1:38:58 PM    bpdunlv   Posts: 8 Score: 0 Joined: 8/23/2007 Status: offline I am having issues with my back drivers side window now going back up at all.  I get this loud humming noise when i try to put it back up.  And the window will not even move.  Does this sound like a motor or a regulator? thanks Post #: 1

RE: Window wont go up - 11/12/2007 3:06:17 PM    bpdunlv   Posts: 8 Score: 0 Joined: 8/23/2007 Status: offline Yeah, it will not go up at all with any help.  I had to take off the door panel and manually pull up the window to keep it up, and then taped the window to the door frame.  So I wasn’t sure if it was the motor, or if it was off track, or the regulator (not sure what that does), or if I should just find a new girlfriend…maybe that would be easier. RE: Window wont go up - 11/12/2007 3:36:08 PM    sir_nasty Posts: 6303 Score: 0 Joined: 2/23/2006 Status: offline nope, it's either off the track one or two different ways, if the glass actually fell out of the track then you want some "Gorilla Glue" or "Gorilla Snot" as some people call it to glue the window back in, if it's a case of the bolts coming out then you'll have to locate some replacements, in either case, pop the door panel off, locate the track (it's either a scissor lift or veritcal track) run the window motor up/down and try to locate what's moving and where. _____________________________ 1981 Civic Station Wagon - ROhnda (Really Old Honda) 1981 Honda CB650 Motorcylce - WHEE What More can I say? 2000 Lexus RX 300 - Oooh baby my wife let me drive it once!!
