Simple question - is this a suitable DIY job? How long does the job take a pro, and how long would it take a motivated novice? Approximately how much would it cost to have the job done in a windshield repar place - "cash", not an insurance job? Are aftermarket windshields suitable for this job? A new, unpitted and uscratched windshield has on me a tremendous positive psycholigical effect towards a car. When I'm looking through a perfect windhsield, I think the rest of the car is perfect, too.
