So I''''m working on my car and fixed a few problems I had, but  came accross something I want to ask about. The windshield water pump has a tank duh ..(obviously for the fluid) and on top of this tank sits a tube with a cap on top from which u pour the fluid in. I was always under the impression that the tube was broken or had a crack in it, until this week when I had to take it out to replace a headlight and I find that the tube right down the middle of it has 2 round factory made holes( i dont know if the tube is supposed to hook into something, but there arent any taps or hooks for the holes to snap into and any fluid I put in will come out tru those holes, (but the tank is good tho) so I guess my question is, Are those two holes in that tube to fasten it or what exactly is the deal with them? I''''m about to just cover them and be done wit it, but I found out a long time ago that any quick fix ups you do on a car will come back to haunt you sooner rather than later...

Thanks
