Stock tires on my 1997 Accord EX should be (and my rear tires are): 195/60-15 My front tires are: 195/65-15 The fronts are 3.2% taller (65 vs. 60). Beyond skewing my speedometer, does this difference matter? The front tires are nearly new, the rears likely have about 15,000 miles left. All 4 are Goodyear Eagles (IIRC). Ray and Tom don''t seem to think so, but anyone have more details on why or why not? Transmission issues? Rear differential? Engine strain? Different shift points?
