I have a new (7k miles) accord that I bought brand new from the dealer. The seats are black cloth (should have gotten leather!) that look filthy! It is almost like they have a static cling affect to them. I trie to vaccum them but barely any of the stuff (like lint kinda) comes off... It is so bad I am half tempted to see if I can have leather installed. Has anyone had this problem, if so how can I fix it? Does the honda seat proteection spray offered by the dealer help at all?
Thanks in advance!

My 07 does it too. My interior is Ivory so its very apparent. Did you try a lint brush?

I have tried a lint brush and vacumming and together they helped a little but after a few days it was just as bad.. Did you happen to get the seat "protection" spray they try to sell you when you get the car? I didn't but I wonder if that will help, I believe it costs a few hundred $$$.

I didn’t. I did get a scotchguard installed at a local shop, but that was shortly after buying the car, so I didn’t have any experience prior to the scotchguard. You may want to try an anti-static spray, or simply rubbing a dryer sheet over the seat. Mine seems to have gotten better (I've owned the car for 4.5 months now), but honestly, unless its disgusting, it really doesn’t bother me.

Rug Doctor hand cleaner attachment.
I do my car carpet and upholstery annually after home floor covering.
No more than 2 oz in a tank of hot water.
