ok I've decided I'll go with the v6. Test drove it today and I can feel the difference. The sticker price is 28000-29000 but on this black one it was 30100 so I'm convinced I can find one for a lower price. Maybe at least 24k. This is for the coupe. My accord only has 8000 miles as of now. Its still in top shape with the exception of a small crack on the windshield from a rock. I looked up the value and its 19000-22000.

If you can swing the finances, thats the way to go indeed.
If I couldve afforded it, thats the model I wouldve snagged.
240+ hp, 6 speed manual. Whats not to love?!

I'm only getting an auto. I'm not an RSx person. Those things r too small. I jus want a little more power and also the v6 model jus looks better. Dual exhaust and the stock rims stand out more.

why do you not want a manual? oh, i paid 23.800 for a v6 6mt sedan. should be able to get an auto for less than that.

on which one, the one in flag? i would guess the usual...27.9 or something like that. the dealer is called flagstaff honda
the sticker on mine was like 29.5 or something, but they had added a bunch on stuff to it...more dealer prep, a couple of useless packages, and a pinstripe, oh and tint too.
i made it clear to them that the add on equipment had no value to me at all, and because of that, i refused to pay a dime for it, except for the tint. what really got me was the extra 475 for dealer prep...as if the 700$ destination fee and a 369$ doc fee isnt enough raw profit. either way, the way i got my price is that they had advertised a v6 sedan (white, the color I bought) in the paper, but it didnt specify the tranny. the advertised price was 23.8 i pushed them on it. the tried to get me to pay for their 'valuable' add on packages, but i wouldnt. anyway...

I wanted to know how u got urs at a good price with the 6 spd which would cost the most. So u were firm with them. Did they take the stuff u didnt want off the car or they left it on?

they left it on...
they are a pretty high volume dealership...and i guess i was a bit surprised they dealed as much as they did on it, but i kind of had their feet to the fire on the advertised price....most of that add on sh*t is very negotiable. it's like the stuff in the finance office...its almost pure profit for them. one of the items was a 'protection package' that was like 400$. It amounted to stick ons on the door edges and behind the door handles (which I peeled off) to avoid scratches and scrapes...what a rip.

I see so u knew what u had to do. My biggest obstacle is jus getting my dad to allow it and for hin to bargain with them bc he knows when they r trying pull something. I jus dk how ill convince my dad. Hopefully if the price drops from tjat 28 k. Its jus so inflated. There's no accessories on it. Jus the car.

it wont drop. you make it drop either through negotiation with them, or by getting quotes from other dealers on the same car...gl with it!

After reading through here I'm coming to realize how lucky I was with my find. I got my 05 6 speed for 17500. Apparently it was a leased vehicle and sat on the lot for a month or something... Carfax is clean, body is dentless and only has a few minor scrathes. 31,800 miles when I drove it off the lot.
