Roy,
Rarely have I known the darkness of desolation in being "broke down on the side of a road." Yet, I too after 22 years behind the wheel have felt the sting of despair, isolation and longing for just the right tool or part to cure what was ailing me and my ride. You have, through pictures and words, conveyed what we have all thought and felt - including the tempations of "new flesh ..er leather".
I just passed 300k. Women have come and gone, but I still have my Honda - and you are still my hero.

You've touched on it, 91hondalover, when a car goes beyond the "it's transportation" to "it's part of the family". I'll have the next vid up by august 6th or so. And I'm hoping to convey that idea, in my own subtle way. Thanks so much for watching.

Alright, so I'm not an expert or anything but how could he tell the motor was blown by smelling the radiator cap? Couldn't it have been a head gasket? (I have only watched half the video so far...)

*ROFL* you really should sell these episodes to a honda dealership or something.... In fact write an e-mail to honda of america so they can see them, that's great stuff!
Side note: why do support groups always seem to have twice as many women as men? (Not a Fact, Not Sexist, Just an observation)

It was the oil cap. Apperantly the oil carmelizes at hi temps which could not be cleaned out with out a hugh cost. The rebuilt was a cheaper option.
