Hey everyone SHocker here
So i picked up a set of 2 piece rims from a coworker he gave them to me my problem is they need refinished..... there a 2 piece rim and they have lil torque screws all the way around the rim.... my problem is i dont know if they have to be torqued to a certain pressure???????? any help suggestions????.... I will try and find a picture but there KAKA alot...... it says on the center cap

id be scared to take them apart you might want to seek professional help on this one cus if they *MUCK* them up yo get free rims

Drop off the whole rim to be refinished and don't worry about it. Most shops that repair wheels charge a flat rate no matter how much of the rim needs refinished.

SO what ur saying is i shouldt try it myself????? lol all i wanna know is what they little torques should be torqued at pressure wise...... my uncle use to be a bodyman so we can do it i hope... we did my old ones but they werent 2 piece or 5zigens hahah

GOOD NEWS..... it turns out my friend that works at a truck stop has taken them apart for me..... now i need to sand them and then paint em...... they should be don in about a week..... oh and by the way THEY WERENT TORQUED the nuts were rusted so we used some $hit to free it up and now its all good

Your friend saved you a good bit of money, so buy him a lunch or somethin..would have cost you about $110.00 to $130.00 per wheel to have them done by a wheel refinishing company in just about any state.

Sure is nice to have a good friend who comes to your rescue and helps you out....
