how can you tell when the cv joints are going? do they make a vibrating noise or a grinding noise? My car makes a faint grinding noise if I turn the wheel slightly while driving foward. I cant tell what it is could it be bearings?
did anyone know that if you remove the power steering pump belt the car gains a little more power. I thought it was cool, i didnt think it would make much of a diference, but parking is a pain in the ass.

if the inner cv joints are worn you will experience a vibration most noticable when accellarating ....if the outer joints are worn , you will hear a clunking noise on turns....
As for noises it is hard to properly diagnose without hearing it first hand , people describe noises differently..

ok. I will check to see when it exactly does it and what kind of sounds it makes.
