Tony, I noticed in your pictures your car does not have the retainer for the Oil seal , Balance shaft seal.
Did you ever think of getting one of those ? did you install one after you took the picture ?

There was no retainer on the car when I took the lower cover off for the first time.
I installed the retainer after I replaced the old seal with a new one.
