94 Accord EX - SRS Light CAme on

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I've bought a 94 Accord EX a few weeks ago (147K) for my son. Everything was OK until today. The SRS light came on.

I would appreciate any comments, suggestions.

The thought of an airbag blowing up in my face unexpectedly or not working at all when needed would make me a nervous wreck. I would have it checked pronto. If there are safety inspections where you are, it will not pass with the light on.

Gotta take it to a dealer and get it inspected.

if the car was ever in an accident it could have deployed the airbag..that would also set off an srs code..if new air bag isnt installed correctly could set off srs light after replacing.
