i ran into a problem    ok i did the swap   my 94 accord ex  the motor is out of a 96 f22b sohc vtec this morning tuning a lil took it around the block maybe a mile    my car didnt go into d4 overdrive    instead it felt like i hit a govenor no response   ..... then it died      "   i ran out of gas "  next i get it home   replaced the fuel then the car started acting funny a mild studder flashin inst. panel  d4 light stayed on while in park /also check engine light   cranks fine/ runs for a second then starts the studder   like no fuel to motor     rember it was just running fine 10 mins before  i need help     is it a sensor or fuel problem preventing the overdrive? did i for get to hook something up?     it has to be something simple it was  running so damn sweet  so sweet

Do you know how to type or think in complete thoughts/sentences. I barely understood that.

Pull the code that you're throwing.

The problem could be related to the fact that your 94 EX was OBDI and the 96 EX is OBDII.  Did you retain the same ECU from the 94?  If so, you are probably going to have to get an OBDII ECU to make it function properly.  Or you'll have to do some kind of OBDII to OBDI conversion.
