I just replaced the regualtor in the front passenger door of my '94 Accord. The window still goes down really slowly. I tried greasing it with wd-40 like people suggested in some of the other threads - it's still slow. Any ideas?

Ironically enough I have the same basic issue with my 94 accord ex driver side window... I believe it's the motor (It's been slowly getting worse...) but with mine it goes down kinda slow for the first few inches and then drops with a fair amount of speed... I don't know if it's something to do with the year and the tracks or what but I'll post my findings after I replace my motor.

remove the door panel,,,,,,loosen up the 2 10mm bolts for the lower window tracks one on each side of the window, and spread them apart, , tighten the window tracks bolts, readjust the window, and retry it .. also lube the bottom run channel while you got panel off..

good call.... I didn't realize there was an adjustment... perhaps that's all the issue I'm having.... Basically when I roll the window down (it's getting a LOT worse now) it goes down about 2-3 inches then I hear a clicking noise coming from the switch, I release it and try again and it will start to go down... I run into the exact same issue when I'm rolling it up... is it possible that this is just an adjustment issue and not my motor?

sir nasty you probably need a new motor, but as far as the car with the new motor, its probably just the adjustment. but those aftermarket regulators are always slow. the general idea is that if it goes all the way up and down, its all good

Well I readjusted and re-lubed the track and it seems to be doing a little bit better. It's still not as fast as I'd like it, and that may be (as was pointed out above) because it's an aftermarket regulator. Considering the money I saved over ordering one from the dealership, I can live with that. Thanks for the help.
