I came to this site since my water pump started leaking and wanted to replace the water pump myself. This will be my first attempt to replace the water pump, timing belts and seals. I recently done my thermostat and felt good about the installation and then my water pump started leaking. I just bought the timing belt and water pump kit from ebay and looking to get this installed in the next few weeks. Wish me luck and if there is anything I should look out for before I attempt this let me know. Thanks and this forum is awesome.

You can download a shop manual for a 94 in chapters in the ACC 5th gen... thread in the DIY section.  That will help a lot.

Read up on removing the cranshaft bolt.  It is a major PIA loosen.

Also, use white-out to make your own marks on the old timing belt and on the teeth of the pulleys on the timing and balance belt.  A second set of marks will help ensure that you have the new belt installed correctly.  When I went to mark the new belt with white-out based off the old belt, I found that the new belt had an extra tooth.  I ended up counting all the teeth on the belt to make sure that I wasn''t losing my mind.  I bought one from the honda dealership and it had the correct number of teeth.

Arm youself with as much information as possible when you tackle the job, and it will make the job go much smoother.
