98 accord central locking problem

Can anybody point me in the right direction. The car locks it self when the key is in the ignition. weather you are in it or not. soon as the door closes it locks. this is with the engine stopped or running. if it is an option how do I stop it? I really dont like it I have to car a spare key to get in. Please help.

multiplex unit is the first thing I would look at. it controls a lot of accessories on the car....

Ask DH where the multiplex unit is. I have not been able to locate it in hondaautomotiveparts.com

i know car is a 98 tell me more .. give me the model..
actually it might be a good idea to input year and model on your signature that way anyone who is trying to help will know what we are working on....thanks ..
and it is a factory alarm correct ?

I am about to swop the whole locking mechanism and central locking from another accord identical to mine and I need to know were to look to remove the right bits so the keys will start my car. any help would be very apreciated at this moment. the car is a 1997 Honda Accord 2.0i S
automatic. the donor car is the same. were is the imobalser unit hidden and any other relevent items I need to remove. thanks in advance.
the car is from the UK.
