Hi, can anyone please teach me step by step on how to put in reverse glow gauges for Honda 98-02 (I use this reference because all these model are the same)? I try replaceing the old gauge by putting the new one on top but it doesn't work simply because it is going to make the face thicker and the needles won't move. Any suggestions? Please help me. Thank You!!!

it is actually not that hard to do.....
first step is to remove the instrument panel..
you need to remove the screws , than with a flat tip screwdriver, pry gently to undo it form the holding clips ,,tilt the steering wheel down it will give you more room to work ..
once the panel is removed.....
there are 4 screws 2 on the bottom and 2 that screw in from bottom to top..that secure the gauge assembly,. once removed .
remove the connectors ,i believe there are 3 of them.. the gauge assembly should come out,,
once out, you need to undo the clips holding the frt face cover on, and you should be able to get access to the face plate.., replace it ..
reinstall in reverse order ..

I was just messing with my old speedometer yesterday and I was wondering how do you remove the factory faceplate (the black one with the speeds listed) and re-install it without removing the needle? and if you remove the needle will it go back on in the proper position?
